Wednesday

Muay Thai Flag
Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu vs Phetseengern Gor. Adtison
Chaiyaphum, Isaan, Thailand

Awakening's comments: A 50kg rematch bout in which Sylvie von Duuglas-Ittu enters her 103rd fight. We wanted to pull this fight out because many people follow the progress of von Duuglas-Ittu. The winner of  Journalist of the Year 2014 in the Awakening Muay Thai Awards, many will know that she is attempting to be the first Westerner to have 100 fights in Thailand.  This fight will be her 94th in Thailand!

Amendment: This bout has unfortunately been cancelled

Friday

Boxing Flag
Eileen Olszewski vs Christina Fuentes
Laredo, Texas, USA

Awakening's comments: This is a rematch. The last time these ladies fought was back in September 2014 when they fought to a split draw. Incedentally, this was also the last fight either of these ladies had. Although last time wasn't a championship bout, this time they fight for the IFBA International Female Boxers Association World flyweight title.

Boxing Flag
Mayerlin Rivas vs Irma Garcia
Polideportivo José María Vargas, La Guaira, Venezuela

Awakening's comments: Another title fight in boxing. Mayerlin Rivas fights in her home country against Mexican Irma Garcia. Rivas will be defending her WBA World female bantamweight title for the first time. Garcia has only been defeated once.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Muay Thai Flag
Valentina Shevchenko vs Lindsay Haycraft
Legacy Kickboxing, Houston, USA

Awakening's comments: The fight is estimated to be at 60kg. Valentina Shevchenko is one of those incredible fighters that should always make a listing such as this. She faces the talented Lindsay Haycraft, who will be fighting in front of her own national crowd. You may recall, Haycraft kindly supported us during our recent kickstarter attempt. If you were following the campaign you also might have read that this will be her penultimate fight before she retires.  This fight is our weeks' top pick!Awards

Saturday

MMA Flag
Alice Yauger vs Jasmine Hargrave (D)
XKO 24: Five Years Strong, Arlington, Texas, United States

Awakening's comments: A flyweight bout in which Jasmine Hargrave makes her debut against Alice Yauger, 1-2-0. At current we have little info on Hargrave, however we can report that Yauger has boxing experience, holds a black belt in Taekwondo, and a green belt in Judo.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA Flag
Ashley Deen (D) vs Sharon Jacobson
NMEF Annihilation 53, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Awakening's comments: A Flyweight bout. Ashley Deen makes her professional debut against the more experienced Sharon Jacobson. Deen's amateur record is 4-0-0, so it will be interesting to see if she will continue her win streak as a pro, or will Jacobson stop her in her tracks and move forward with a two fight win streak.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA (Amateur) Flag
Allison Ainley vs Amanda Ginski (D)
XFO: Rocktown Showdown 22, Rockford, Illinois, United States

Awakening's comments: A featherweight bout in which Amanda Ginski makes her debut against a much more experienced Allison Ainley, 4-1-0. Ainley's only defeat was her last fight against Alexa Conners. From the outside, this looks like a miss-match. To be honest, we currently don't know much about Ginski, hopefully XFO knows more and we're wrong about it being a miss-match.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA (Amateur) Flag
Nicole Brown vs Lindsey Lawrence (D)
XFO: Rocktown Showdown 22, Rockford, Illinois, United States

Awakening's comments: A bantamweight bout in which Lindsey Lawrence makes her debut against a more experienced Nicole Brown, 1-4-0.

Sunday

Boxing Flag
Claudia Ferenczi vs Fanni Lili Windishmann
Sturovo Gym, Šturovo, Slovakia

Awakening's comments: A lightweight bout in which Claudia Ferenczi fights in her own country against Hungarian Fanni Lili Windishmann. Both of these fighters will be eager to gain the victory so this could be a great fight. 19 year old Windishmann, 0-1-0, will be hungry (non-intentional pun) to get her career back off to a good start, whilst Ferenczi will be hungry to start off a much needed win streak. We doubt that there is a fighter out there that has a bigger heart than Ferenczi. This huge hearted 21 year old girl has already had an astonishing 52 fights, her record is 8-39-5. Yes you read that right. Many of her opponents are well respected fighters also.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA Flag
Gianna Mpounia vs Elina Kallionidou (D)
Cage Survivor 3: CS3, Athens, Greece

Awakening's comments: A bout at 123lbs. We're not 100% sure but we think that Elina Kallionidou is making her professional debut against Gianna Mpounia, 1-0-0. We don't know much about either fighter at this stage, however we like to highlight the debutants.
