Boeng Sianduangnakhon vs. Nampueng ABT Khaodaeng was the third bout, and only female fight on the card at Samui International Muay Thai Stadium this evening. As you know, Awakening Fighters puts the female fights ahead of the male fights in terms of interest and importance. For this reason I have listed this fight ahead of the others.
Last week I visited Samui International Muay Thai Stadium. My goal was to introduce myself and Awakening Fighters, and ask for a kind of lifetime press pass. My intent was, and still is, to film as many female fights as I can for the Awakening YouTube channel and athlete profile fight records.
I don’t want to say too much about this fight because I think you should watch it. In my honest opinion, this fight was the fight of the night. I knew it would be, and I had told a few people before hand… and hey, I was right! What a great showing by both ladies! ..and a huge thanks to Hybrid for putting this fight on.
I was so pleased to get to see my first Griphouse fighter live. Farah definitely delivered! I’m not sure how many of you know this, but Rose is an extended Awakening family member. She’s been there with advice when I’ve needed it, and she also is an admin of the Awakening facebook group.
The weekend just gone I was asked to film the event “The Homecoming” hosted by Plymouth’s Hybrid Gym. I’m pleased to say that the event was a corker from start to finish.

On Monday 4th of July, the second and final fight night of the Enfusion Contenders documentary took place. Held at Phetchbuncha Samui Stadium, Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui, Thailand, the show lived up to its build-up.
On August 6th, Hybrid Fight Series, Pride Combat Athletics and Lion Fight Promotions brings to you a night of high quality fight action. Whilst that is a mouthful, the show boasts a whopping fight card of twenty-five bouts. Six of the billed fights are going to female.

I am booked for another show in Plymouth next month. This time for Taurus Gym. A few athletes asked me if I was attending the show because of the amount of female fights on the card. I believe 8 of the 28 fighters are women.
