Taylor Stratford is a female MMA fighter from San Diego, California, United States.
She began training in 2009. Having been bullied a lot, she took to MMA training in order to release frustration and gain self-confidence.
She was eliminated in the semi-finals of the Tuff-N-Uff Featherweight Championship tournament by Ronda Rousey. However, when Ronda left the tournament to pursue her pro career, she was given the opportunity to fight in the finale, and won the inaugural title.
She was scheduled to make her pro debut in October of 2012 with Invicta Fighting Championships, but was sidelined with an injury.
Personal Life
Taylor’s parents have been supportive of her fighting career, particularly her father who used to box.
