Candice Mitchell fight history

Candice tells Awakening, “I started Muay Thai in 2013 as a way to relieve stress, stay in shape and meet boys. Of cause now all the boys are afraid of me. That plan back fired big time! I didn’t know if martial arts would work for reducing stress, I just really wanted to punch something and the monthly membership was cheaper than therapy so I tried it. After my first few months I fell in love. I was at the gym almost every day of the week. After my first tournament I was hooked on fighting. I knew this was something I wanted to do professionally. I started training even harder and never stopped.”

Candice Mitchell’s Bio

Candice Mitchell is a female fighter from Trinidad and Tobago. She resides is Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On March 12th 2016 she became the first woman to win an MTO Muay Thai title (Muay Thai Ontario). Two month's later she traveled to Thailand and made her professional debut.

She currently coaches at Toronto Kickboxing & Muaythai Academy, the gym for which she competed as an amateur.

In August 2018, she was signed by Lion Fight Promotions.
