Bryanna tells Awakening “I am a small town girl from a dairy farm in the middle of nowhere Northern California. After finishing my undergraduate degree in Agriculture Business, life happened and I bounced around a bit spending some time in the midwest and landing alone Honolulu with the vaguest of plans and not a penny to my name. Living in a hostel underneath the heat of the Waikiki tiki torches, I found out quick what it was really like to be alive! After six months I began my journey with South Oahu MMA. I was barely 25 and I had no previous experience and nothing that would have prepared me for the training and life style change I was about to undergo. My MMA ohana (Hawaiian word for family) has pushed me to become a better fighter and better person than I ever thought I could become. Every time I put on the pink gi (Pink Ranger suit), or tape down my gloves my coach has taught me to remember three things; 1. I believe in God, 2. I believe in myself and 3. I believe
I have done everything possible to prepare for this moment…..and with that
said….It’s Morphing Time!”
