The UFC and boxing are two of the best (and most popular) combat sports in the world – but are you getting the most out of your fan experience?

UFC is the king of MMA and Boxing is the perfect source of entertainment for both diehard and casual fans. Therefore, it’s unsurprising that these two sports are currently dominating the global sporting scene.

As a passionate watcher of UFC and boxing, you should follow these tips and tricks to help better your fan experience and become more knowledgeable.
Ready? Let’s begin!

1. Place bets on fights

Whether you’re watching a Connor McGregor or Floyd Mayweather fight, you need to complete the experience by placing bets. If you’ve never done this before, you’re in for a pleasant surprise – as it takes excitement levels to a whole new level.

A lot of UFC and boxing fans don’t bet on fights simply because they don’t know where the best place to do it is. Well, don’t worry anymore, as help is at hand. Get started with online boxing betting. It won’t take you long to become a total betting expert – you’ll even be giving your friends and family advice!

2. Stream all the major PPVs

Each year, there are roughly 30-50 UFC events along with tons of boxing PPVs. For any true fan, these events are unmissable. You get to sit back, kick your feet up, grab a cold beverage, and watch some of the world’s best fighters go at it!

So, make sure to treat yourself to some PPV buys this year. For example, the upcoming Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder boxing bout is expected to surpass over a million buys, so make sure to check that one out! And when Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua finally happens – sheesh, it’s going to break all-time PPV records.

Sure, you can watch the highlights the next day for free, but watching live PPVs is an experience like no other.

Also, pro tip: don’t illegally stream UFC events or boxing fights. The quality is never the same, as you’re almost guaranteed to experience lagging and connection disruptions.

3. Try to get tickets for live events

If you can get tickets to a UFC event or boxing mega bout, then you’re in for a treat (especially if it is in Vegas!). Even if you only go to one event in your lifetime, it’s better than zero. However, due to expensive ticket prices, it’s recommended that you start saving up now.

4. Follow your favorite fighters on social media

Rose Namajunas, Nate Diaz, Connor McGregor, Jon Jones, Khabib – these are just some of the legendary names that have graced the UFC octagon.

Similarly, boxing has a ton of amazing and iconic fighters, from Floyd Mayweather and the recently retired Manny Pacquiao to Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.

Whoever you’re a fan of, make sure to follow them on social media for updates on their lives and fighting schedules.

5. Re-watch legendary battles

Throughout the history of UFC and boxing, there have been some legendary battles.

In the UFC, McGregor vs Khabib (II) was absolutely insane and is a matchup that fans still talk about over 3 years later.

In boxing, there are endless legendary fights that you can re-watch. Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier (1974) is widely regarded by boxing purists as the greatest ever, so make sure to start with that one!
