Boxing Flag
Liliana Palmera vs Alys Sanchez
Coliseo Mario de León, Cerete, Colombia

Awakening's comments: La Tigresa vs La China respectively, fight for the interim WBA World female super bantamweight title. Palmera will be fighting on her home turf and currently has a two fight win streak. Her professional record stands at 23-11-3 and it's worthy of note that she has 15 KOs under her belt!  Sanchez on the other hand, the slightly younger fighter at 28 years old, has a record of 13-2-1 and is traveling from Venezuela to compete. Her only losses being to respected fighters Jackie Nava and Carolina Arias.

Yarley Cuadrado vs Angie Barca
Coliseo Mario de León, Cerete, Colombia

Awakening's comments: We pulled this fight out because Cuadrado is currently undefeated at 5-0-0 since making her debut back in 2013, and will obviously be looking to continue her win streak. Her opponent, Barca has a less flattering record of 1-4-0 and also made her debut in 2013. Both fighters equally experienced, but just with different starts to their careers.

MMA Flag
Jocelyn Lybarger vs Maria Rios
RFA 23: Murphy vs. Ware, The Hangar at the OC Fair and Event Center, Costa Mesa, California, United States

Awakening's comments: A Strawweight bout in which the more experienced Lybarger takes on the slightly greener Rios. Lybarger made her amateur debut in 2010 and reached 4-2-0 before turning pro in 2012.  Her pro record now stands at a respectable 4-1-0. Her opponent Rios is currently undefeated at professional level with 2-0-0. She left her amateur record behind at 3-1-0 and will no doubt be wanting to keep her pro record unblemished. It's worthy of note that Rios has finished twice as many fights as Lybarger.

Saifaa Sor Suparatvs Miriam Sabot

Nampetch vs Natasha Sky
58kg

Lommanee vs Fani Peloumpi
52kg

Chommanee vs Martyna Krol
59kg

Sarah Rankin vs Nong Em
52kg

Kelly Creegan vs Fahsithong Sitsoreung
64kg

Awakening's comments: World Muay Thai Angels next installment called February MuayThai Day. Some really exciting fights happening here and so much so we don't want to single any out out of respect to the others. A couple of points to note however is that Melissa Reaume has unfortunately been replaced by Sarah Rankin due to the promoter shuffling some fights around, and the recent cancellation of the unrelated WMC 4 women tournament has allowed Natasha Sky and Martyna Krol to join the show!

Saturday

Boxing Flag
Simona Galassi†vs Loredana Piazza
Ferrara, Emilia Romagna, Italy

Awakening's comments: A Flyweight title bout in which crowd favorite Galassi defends her EBU female flyweight title for the 6th time against the less experienced yet younger Piazza!  Galassi has an impressive record of 22-3-1 and is currently on a 3 fight win streak. Piazza on the other hand has a respectable record of 10-2-0 and has actually won via KO 4 times, the same amount as Galassi.

---------------------------------------------------------------

K-1 Flag
Marieke Post vs Sheena Widdershoven
Enfusion, Netherlands

Awakening's comments: This 65kg fight is almost certainly going to steal the show at this upcoming event. The bout will be fought under Enfusion rules, both Dutch fighters are at home fighting under this set up. As far as we know Post is 17-4-1, whilst Widdershoven is 18-2-0. In terms of statistics, the only difference is 1cm in height to Post. Make sure you watch this fight live from the Enfusion website!

This fight is our weeks' top pick!Awards

MMA Flag
Katlyn Chookagian vs Nohime Dennisson
CFFC 45, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States

Awakening's comments: We're estimating this fight to be at Flyweight. Dennisson fights out of Jackson's MMA so has some of the best training partners in the world.  Although she is 2-1-0 as a professional, she actually has a wealth of experience from a Boxing career in which she has fought some of the worlds most respected opponents.  Chookagian on the other hand has to be seen to be believed. She holds a purple belt in BJJ and has finished six of her nine MMA fights.  Her amateur record stood at 7-0-0, whilst her pro record is currently 2-0-0.  Yes, unbeaten and on a 9 fight win streak!

MMA (Amateur) Flag
Anna Karimalis-Kitchin (D) vs Kayla McKee(D)
Budofights 12: Domination, Midtown Ballroom, Bend, Oregon, United States

Awakening's comments: A flyweight bout in which both ladies make their amateur debuts.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA (Amateur) Flag
Malinda Prieurvs Marcia Gates (D)
Cage Wars 29, Albany, New York, United States

Awakening's comments: An amateur bout at 110lbs in which Gates makes her debut against Diffee who's record stands at 0-1-0.

---------------------------------------------------------------

MMA (Amateur) Flag
Casey McGuire (D) vs Lisa Cain (D)
Trotters Legacy MMA: Winter Beatdown, Richmond, Kentucky, United States

Awakening's comments: An all too rare Heavyweight bout (265lbs) in which both Kentucky ladies make their amateur debuts.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Muay Thai Flag
Marina Zueva vs Grace Spicer
Dinamite Fight Night 28, Portugal

Awakening's comments: A world title fight, and rightly so. We really hope that this fight surfaces on youtube after the event - if it does, we'll be sharing it. Both ladies are well respected at 52kg.  Russian Zueva is 45-16-11 as far as we know and has arguably fought the world's toughest opponents at this weight.  Spicer on the other hand is far less experienced at 12-2-0 (combined) but is no stranger to tough opponents and has won a string of impressive titles.  This fight should be awesome!
